Demo Import issue on Hostinger temporary domains

Temporary Domains

When using a temporary domain from Hostinger, their embedded CDN and firewall are automatically enabled without any option to disable or manage them. This setup blocks REST API calls to our demo sites, leading to a 504 error.

To resolve this issue, Hostinger support recommends using a live domain instead. With a live domain, you gain control over the CDN and firewall settings, ensuring a smooth demo import process.

Live Domains

Before running the demo import on a Hostinger live domain, go to Hostinger Tools and turn off "Disable application passwords." Keeping this feature enabled will block REST API calls, causing the demo import to fail.
