Installation & Updates

Requirements:

• WordPress 5.8 or higher
• PHP version 7.4 or higher
• A theme compatible with the block editor (Gutenberg)

Install Blocks

Option 1 — Install from WordPress:

1. In your dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New.
2. Search for “UiCore Blocks”.
3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Option 2 — Install with UiCore PRO theme

1. Install and activate your UiCore PRO theme license.
2. On the “Thanks for choosing UiCore Pro” screen, click Use Gutenberg (see screenshot).
3. UiCore PRO will set Gutenberg as the main builder and nstall & activate the UiCore Blocks plugin automatically.

If you clicked the wrong option:

1. Go to UiCore Pro → Theme Options → System.
2. Choose Gutenberg from the dropdown.
3. Save changes — UiCore PRO will automatically switch your site to use the Blocks plugin and Gutenberg builder.

Update the plugin

Always back up your site before updating (files + database).

Auto-updates

• Dashboard: Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins → Find Blocks and click “Enable auto-updates”.

Manual update

• Dashboard: When an update is available, WordPress shows a badge in Dashboard → Updates and next to the plugin. Click Update now.
