The Global Settings panel allows you to control the overall look and behavior of your website from one place. It helps you maintain design consistency across all pages and blocks while saving time on repetitive styling tasks:
There are two main types of global settings available:
Global Styles
Used to define your site-wide design system, including colors, typography, and layout defaults.
Note: When using the UiCore PRO theme, global styles are fully synced with Theme Options. This means changes made in Global Styles are reflected automatically in the Theme Options, and vice versa — keeping your entire design system consistent across both the editor and the theme.
Editor Settings
Used to customize the behavior and appearance of the Gutenberg editor itself, allowing you to tailor the editing experience to your workflow.
Available settings include:
- Quick Actions Bar – toggle the bar that provides fast access to commonly used blocks. Enabling it can greatly speed up your workflow.
- Editor Dark Mode – switch the editor interface to a dark color scheme, reducing eye strain and providing better contrast for certain designs.
- Small Left Sidebar – condense the main blocks sidebar for a cleaner, more focused editing workspace.
