Copy Styles

The Copy Styles option is a fast and powerful way to reuse the same design across multiple blocks. It lets you duplicate the styling of one block and apply it to another instantly — without manually recreating every setting.

This feature is designed to help you maintain consistent design across your website while saving time when working with similar blocks. 

How It Works

With Copy Styles, you can copy all design properties — including colors, typography, spacing, borders, and effects — from one block and paste them onto another. Everything from the Style tab is transferred automatically, so your blocks stay perfectly matched.

Why Use Copy Styles

The Copy Styles option is perfect when you want to:

• Maintain consistent design across your page or site.
• Speed up workflow by reusing existing styles.
• Apply matching styling to similar blocks instantly.
• Transfer only specific properties between different block types.

By using Copy Styles, you can create your design once and apply it anywhere — keeping your pages consistent, efficient, and easy to manage. 

Copying Styles Between Blocks

You can copy styles between any blocks that share the same type or a similar structure.

For example, if you’ve customized a block with a specific color, border, and hover animation, and you want another one to look identical:

1. Select the styled block.
2. Open the three-dot menu in the toolbar and choose Copy Styles.
3. Select the target block.
4. Open the same menu and click Paste Styles.

All of the visual settings — including color, typography, spacing, and effects — are instantly applied to the new block.

Copy Individual Styles

You can also copy and paste specific style sections instead of the entire design — perfect when you only want to transfer one particular styling property.

For example:

1. Open the Style tab on a container.
2. In the Background section, click the small copy icon next to the section title.
3. Select another container, open the same section, and click the paste icon.

Only the background styling will be applied — other properties like borders or spacing remain unchanged.

This approach works for any section inside the Style tab (e.g., border, shadow, typography, etc.), allowing you to copy only what you need.

Copy Multiple Styles

The Copy Styles feature also supports storing multiple copied styles at once, giving you even more flexibility.

For example, you can:

• Copy the background from one block.
• Copy the border from another.
• Copy the padding from a third.

All of these styles are saved in memory and can be pasted separately or all together onto another block.

You can even paste them onto a different block type — for example, apply a copied border from an image block to a button or a heading.

Because UiCore Blocks share the same style system, properties like color, background, border, spacing, and shadows behave the same way across all block types.

This makes it easy to keep a consistent design system — once you create a look you like, you can quickly reuse it anywhere in your layout.
